The goals of this class are teaching your child the basics of theater while learning the wonderful art of performing on stage in a classroom environment.
Ages 7-14
This homeschool class will be taught by our music director Ava Shields

In this class we will be practicing:
Vocal warm-ups
Proper singing techniques
how to control breath and tone
harmonizing
blending with groups
and explore different vocal parts to enhance ensemble performance
Songs will be drawn from a variety of popular Broadway musicals, allowing students to experience different styles. Students will also have the opportunity to vote on which songs to focus on to make it more tailored to their interests
Ages 12-18
In this class Mr. Ramos and Mr. Lankford will be covering a multitude of different things.

Things such as:
Learning to analyze scripts and characters
Learning how to interpret lines
Cold reads
And learning performance techniques
Your child will be able to choose a scene, practice an audition, learn character development, practice their favorites, and end the semester by performing what they worked on.
